The March alone drew an estimated 4 million people. It marked the first time that WorldPride was held in the U.S., lead- ing to the largest Pride celebration in New York’s history.
The last time NYC Pride held a full roster of in-person events was in 2019, the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Riots that kicked off the gay civil rights movement.
